The mechanical seal for InverPro is 316. Therefore, this pool pump is suitable for salt concentrations of 0.5% (5g/l).

Mechanical seals, o-rings, gaskets, the impeller, and other elements that seal and rotate are the most worn parts.

The self-priming pump must have a sufficient amount of water in the pump housing. Failing this, the pump may be damaged due to dry running. Furthermore, the suction process shouldn’t be interrupted by repeatedly turning the pump off and on, as this will result in process restarting.
